Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Eldoret. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and reconciling bank statements. Daily tasks will also include budget preparation, tax compliance, and providing financial advice to support business decisions. The role requires maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in financial record management and financial statement preparation
  • Experience in conducting audits and reconciling bank statements
  • Proficiency in budget preparation and tax compliance
  • Ability to provide financial advice to support business decisions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA) are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the corporate sector is preferred
