Architectural Engineer

JOB TITLE: ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERAbout This Job:Q -SourcingLimited trading as Q -Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firmoperating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya,Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.On behalf of ourclient, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Architectural Engineer to work in Nairobi, KenyaDUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES:· Assist in the planning,design, and execution of architectural engineering projects, including buildingstructures and systems.· Conduct site inspections toensure design compliance, quality assurance, and adherence to safety standards.· Collaborate with architects,engineers, and construction teams to develop detailed project plans, drawings,and schedules.· Communicate effectively withclients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout the projectlifecycle.· Coordinate architectural andstructural elements with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems forintegrated building performance.· Conduct risk assessmentsrelated to architectural design and construction activities, particularly thoseaffecting building safety, accessibility, and sustainability.· Ensure compliance with localbuilding codes, zoning regulations, and architectural standards.· Liaise with regulatoryauthorities, urban planners, and other stakeholders to obtain approvals andensure project alignment with legal and environmental requirements.· Support the implementationof sustainable design practices and energy -efficient building systems. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:· Education: Bachelor's degreeor higher in Architectural Engineering.· License: Certified andregistered engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).· Experience: At least 3 yearsof experience in architectural engineering and construction, with involvementin:o    Building constructionprojects (residential, commercial, or institutional).o    Structural coordination andbuilding system integration.· Priority Consideration:o    Experience in working onKURA and other government -funded infrastructure or building projects will be astrong advantage and will be prioritized.· Language Skills: Proficientin English.· Computer Skills:o    Proficiency in MS Officetools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).o    Experience with MS Projectfor project scheduling and management.o    Proficiency in AutoCAD andfamiliarity with architectural modeling tools such as Revit or ArchiCAD.· Additional Requirements:Ability to integrate well into the organization and maintain effective internaland external communication. Interestedand qualified applicants should submit their applications through the linkbelow.Note:Only shortlisted applicants will becontacted.Q -SOURCING SERVTEC IS AN EQUALOPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
