Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Workshop Manager located in Mombasa. The Assistant Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairs of company vehicles and equipment, ensuring all operations are running smoothly and efficiently. Duties will include coordinating with the workshop team, managing schedules, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, including managing workshop operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to lead and supervise a team of workshop staff
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in vehicle maintenance
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields
• Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
• Proficiency in using workshop management software
