Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nairobi County, Kenya, for a Montessori Teacher. The Montessori Teacher will guide students through individualized and collaborative learning experiences, plan and execute lessons, and foster a nurturing and organized classroom environment. The responsibilities include observing and assessing student development, collaborating with colleagues, and providing mentorship while upholding Montessori and Princeton Preparatory School values. The role also includes classroom preparation and maintaining communication with families to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Lesson Planning and Education practices to provide effective and engaging learning experiences
• Skills in Communication and the ability to maintain open, professional dialogue with colleagues, parents, and students
• Experience in Teaching and Training with an emphasis on building independent and collaborative skills in students
• Certification or relevant training in Montessori education is preferred
• A passion for child-centered education and fostering student development
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field is desirable
