Who We Are

Drivelectric is a Kenyan e-mobility leader offering electric vehicle (EV) sales and maintenance, EV battery repair and swapping, installation and maintenance of charging infrastructure, and fleet management. We have a fleet of over 120 vehicles and developed an extensive charging network of nearly 50 charging points. Our EVs have already mitigated 186.5 metric tons of CO2 in just six months, contributing to a sustainable and greener future.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a specialisation in Power Systems to join our technical management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete operational health of our EV charging infrastructure. You will serve as the technical lead for network performance, high-level troubleshooting, and asset management, ensuring our customers have a seamless charging experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational performance, maintenance, and remote monitoring of networked EV charging stations.
  • Diagnose complex faults (power systems, grid, hardware).
  • Manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules and coordinate field teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with a clear specialisation in Power Systems.
  • Understanding of power distribution, load flow, power electronics, and grid management.
  • Experience in a technical role involving the management or maintenance of electrical infrastructure
