Warehouse Receival Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Verify shipment contents against delivery notes, packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Record and report any damages, defects discrepancies, or shortages.
• Label and tag received goods appropriately.
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to resolve issues with deliveries.
• Organize and direct the placement of received items in designated warehouse storage locations in an organized and safe manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all receivables.
• Assist in inventory counts and cycle checks and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe receiving area.
• Comply with workplace health and safety procedures and automotive industry and warehouse standards at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferably in the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry).
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving and initiative

Working Conditions:

• Primarily based in a fast-paced dealership warehouse environment.
• Involves standing for long periods, lifting, carrying, pushing / pulling bending, and moving parts for extended periods. Some climbing, balancing stooping and crouching is also required
• Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
