Job Summary

We are looking to hire an IT officer who will oversee the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems. This role involves developing and executing IT strategies, safeguarding data and networks, and supporting business operations with innovative technology solutions. The IT Officer will play a critical role in aligning technology with business objectives, enhancing security, and optimizing organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
  • Supervise IT department staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

  • Assign tasks, set objectives, and foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.

IT Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.

  • Plan and oversee deployment of hardware, software, CCTV systems, and network upgrades across sites.

Systems & Network Administration
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and databases to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

  • Implement measures to secure networks against unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats.

Security & Data Protection
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.

Budgeting & Procurement
  • Prepare and manage the IT department's budget.

  • Evaluate vendors and recommend hardware, software, and service purchases.

Support & Maintenance
  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for IT support and maintenance.

Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure IT operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and disaster recovery protocols.

Project Management
  • Lead IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver IT-enabled business solutions.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT project management.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of network architecture, hardware, and enterprise software.

  • Cybersecurity expertise with hands-on experience in security tools and protocols.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology trends and organizational needs.
