Job Summary:

The Household/Hardware Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling household and hardware products to customers, providing expert advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves product knowledge, building strong customer relationships, and meeting sales targets.

Job Description

  1. Supporting the overall marketing objectives of the company both externally and internally.
  2. Assisting marketing manager and supervisor to implement marketing strategies.
  3. Providing sufficient market and competitors' information to the marketing supervisor.
  4. Developing and visiting customer and soliciting orders from new and old customers.
  5. To develop, manage and maintain good and positive customer relationships.
  6. 6. identifying, negotiating and securing contracts with new clients and new market areas for the company
  7. Submitting periodic sales and marketing report to marketing supervisor.
  8. Other duties arranged by marketing supervisor.

Job Requirement

  1. Proven experience in sales, preferably in hardware, household items, or retail.
  2. Strong product knowledge of household and hardware goods.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Customer-focused with good problem-solving abilities.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales goals.
  6. Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
  7. Diploma in related field.
  8. Willing to operate within Mombasa region.
