Business partnering with other teams to support financialdecision -making is an important part of the role.  KEY RESPONSIBLITIES    Financial PlanningSupports the Lead, FP&Aon certain components of financial planning and analysis processes for the People& Culture, Public Affairs    & Communications, Data and DigitalInformation and other functions, asrequired, annual budgeting for operating expenses and capital investments, incollaboration with senior leaders in those functional areas. Monitors progress againstthe annual budget and manages the quarterly forecasting process for thosecomponents during the year.Assists in theconsolidation process for the annual budget and quarterly forecast figures.Identifies financial risksand opportunities and recommends solutions.Provides data to supportthe Foundation's multi -year financial planning.Reporting and AnalysisAnalyzes year -to -dateresults and supports the Lead, FP&A to prepare management reports includingvariance analysis for senior management and staff responsible for certainfunctions.Monitors spending on keyinitiatives and ensures appropriate accounting treatment is applied.Prepares external andinternal ad hoc financial analysis for financial planning and analysis processes for the People& Culture, Public   Affairs & Communications, Data and DigitalInformation, and other functions, asrequired.Business PartneringSupports procurement by managing and draftingcontracts for the financial planning and analysis processes for the People & Culture, Public Affairs & Communications, Data and DigitalInformation functions (in collaboration with Legal and thefunction's    business partners), including ensuring commitments are withinbudget, payment terms are based on appropriate milestones, and contract termsare met before payments are made and developpolicies and procedures and provides training as needed RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance,Accounting or Business Administration with professional designation3 -5 years of experience inFinance, accounting or a related fieldExperience in roles withinlarge not -for -profit, NGO or other global organizations.Experience within financialplanning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, management reportingand a demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with internal businesspartners.Financial and managementreporting including forecasting, budgeting and the related IT systems.Strong technical knowledgeand ability to apply appropriate accounting treatments. Understanding of CRAregulatory environment for not -for -profit organizations is an asset.Experience with financialmodelling.Strong analytical andstrategic thinking skills.Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice applications.Ability to identify,simplify and build/improve/implement processes.Ability to challenge andprovide feedback in a constructive manner with the goal of improving efficiencyand operational excellence.Innovative and able toformulate new or creative approaches to problems. Strong interpersonal skillswith an ability to build and maintain relationships.Drives a culture ofcontinuous improvement and teamwork.Flexible, adaptable, andable to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.Possess excellent verbal,written, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate information toa variety of constituents across cultures.Possess professionalmaturity, sensitivity with different cultures, and impeccable integrity.Commitment to clientsvalues and vision.
