Program Assistant Overview
The Program Assistant is responsible for all administrative and operational support required for the implementation of Shiny Marbles Ltd programs. The job holder is required to provide high-level administrative support by handling information requests, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings and providing information to callers. The Program Assistant will also manage and maintain social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as well as draft and edit communications copy (e.g. social media posts and article publications).
Responsibilities
● Organize administrative preparation of all project activities including meetings and online forums, and ensuring documentation of activity reports and minutes.
● Assist in review and analysis of information gathered to inform proposed interventions by the office.
● Managing regular social media content;-
- Curating our existing memes on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter
- Creating social media content (new memes, posting questions, sharing content from third parties)
- Engaging comments on social media
● Assist in preparation programme reports; monthly, quarterly and annual Job Description
● Maintain an appropriate filing and storage system of all relevant documentation for ease of use and retrieval.
● Support the Program Officer in implementing programs as necessary.
Qualifications Required
● Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any field from a recognised university.
● At least one (1) year of experience in a related field.
● Visual and verbal creativity
● Experience with promotion, outreach, or marketing
● Mastery of the social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
● Computer literacy - basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Microsoft Office tools
● Ability to multitask, with tight deadlines/schedules and attention to detail.
● Familiarity with advocacy and communications strategies and tools.
● Capability to story tell using social media and interpersonal skills
● Proficient in both written and spoken communication skills
