Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Theatre Nurse, located in the Kilimani division. The Theatre Nurse will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room, assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring the proper handling of specimens, and providing post-operative care. Additional duties include monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, maintaining sterile environments, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating room procedures, surgical assistance, and sterile technique maintenance
• Strong skills in patient care, post-operative care, and administering medications
• Able to monitor vital signs and handle surgical specimens safely
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid nursing license and certifications in perioperative nursing
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and respond to emergencies effectively
• Previous experience in a hospital or surgical setting is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
