Our client is a construction equipment leasing and maintenance company supporting infrastructure development projects across Kenya. The company supplies and services heavy construction machinery used in major road, dam, and civil works. The company has a growing fleet of specialized plant and machinery, and is committed to operational efficiency and professional standards in its service delivery.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Stores Clerk will manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of spare parts, consumables, and tools across multiple operational sites. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting procurement coordination, and ensuring that materials are available to meet ongoing equipment maintenance and project requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records for all spare parts and consumables.
• Receive, inspect, and record deliveries while verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
• Organize and label items in the store for easy retrieval and tracking.
• Track stock movement and reconcile usage against project and equipment needs.
• Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams to monitor stock levels and raise requisitions as required.
• Develop and streamline store documentation, filing, and stock management procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage facilities.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in stores or inventory management, preferably within construction or engineering operations.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of stock management systems.
• Valid driver's license.
