Job Summary:

We are a growing creative and marketing team producing high-impact visual content for digital platforms. Our projects range from advertising campaigns, tutorials, interviews, product showcases, reels, and podcasts to long-form branded content. We are seeking a Video Editor - General who combines technical mastery, creativity, and storytelling skills to bring our ideas to life and engage audiences across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for delivering professional, engaging, and polished video content:

Editing & Creative Production

• Edit diverse formats: promotional ads, tutorials, interviews, reels, stories, podcasts, and branded content.
• Integrate animations, transitions, overlays, special effects, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
• Package videos with titles, subtitles, intros/outros, call-to-action screens, and branding elements.
• Perform color correction, audio balancing, and visual enhancements for a professional finish.
• Adapt videos to different channels and formats (YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, websites, etc.), ensuring platform-specific optimization.

Technical Quality & File Management

• Apply advanced editing techniques: nested sequences, multi-cam editing, path corrections between Premiere Pro and source clips, plugin-based transitions, and layered compositions.
• Create and synchronize subtitles, using dedicated plugins when needed.
• Ensure compliance with content licensing and copyright regulations.
• Manage video archives, file organization, and backup workflows to ensure easy access and version control.

Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align visuals with the brand identity, tone, and campaign objectives.
• Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions, proposing solutions to improve impact and storytelling.
• Ensure smooth communication, manage feedback iterations, and meet strict deadlines.

Requirements:

Experience:

2–3 years in video editing (agency, production company, or freelance).

Software mastery:

• Adobe Premiere Pro (expert level)
• After Effects (motion graphics, effects, templates)
• Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop for assets, Audition for audio, Illustrator for vector elements).

Technical expertise:

• Color correction and grading
• Transitions with superimposed clips, plugins, and layered effects
• Nested sequences and multi-track editing
• Subtitles creation with plugins
• Podcast and social media (reels, shorts, TikTok) editing best practices

Workflow tools:

Familiarity with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.) for collaboration.

Soft skills:

• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong sense of rhythm and pacing.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing deadlines and feedback loops.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
