JOB TITLE: AGRONOMISTAbout This Job:Q -SourcingLimited trading as Q -Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firmoperating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya,Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.On behalf of ourclient, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Agronomist to work in Eldoret and its Environs.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:· Co -ordinatecreative agency for development and production of promotional & communicationmaterial for tree Care range.· Co -ordinateSeasonal Promoters to carry out farm visits for promotion & detailing oftree care brands.· Co -ordinate with the company's Representativesto organize & attend tree care relevant exhibitions, farmer trainings andshows for promotion of crop care brands.· Carryout Product screening of potential tree care products and present it to NewProduct Development team for approval.· Identify gaps in the tree Careportfolio· Confirm what is existing in the market& create a price matrix/pyramid· Identify suitable products fromsuitable suppliers· Identify risks & recommendmitigation steps· Demonstrate positive ROI as criteriafor approval· Liaise with Head of Marketing to createa brand strategy & launch plan for the new products· Liaise with relevant regulatory bodiesto perform prerequisite product trials· Pursue and close on new productregistration· Liaise with Supply Chain for availingof product· Liaise with Sales department forexecution of launch plan· Train tree plantersKNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:· Diplomain Forestry and Agroforestry· ValidBoda boda licence· ExcellentCommunication Skills· Excellentplanning & organising skills· Goodnegotiation and selling skills· Computerliterate· 2 -3years' in managing plantations· Reportwriting.· SimpleAdministration duties.Interestedand qualified applicants should submit their applications through the linkbelow.Note:Only shortlisted applicants will becontacted.Q -SOURCING SERVTEC IS AN EQUALOPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
