Job Summary A reputable medical center based in Nairobi is seeking to hire an experienced medical procedures is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Accountant Receivables. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and effective management of the facility's accounts receivable portfolio. Key Responsibilities Bill outpatient services accurately and collect payments for all services rendered. Handle daily collections, banking, revenue reconciliation, and posting into accounting software. Issue interim invoices for inpatients, track services offered, and prepare final invoices upon discharge or completion. Follow up on outstanding debts, ensure timely collections, and prepare regular debt status reports. Support the general accounting function within the facility and ensure compliance with financial policies. Maintain accurate financial records for cash sales, insurance payments, and credit transactions. Assist with month -end processes including reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis. Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal controls in all receivable processes.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.Minimum CPA II.At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.Prior experience in healthcare accounting or working in a medical center with consultation, laboratory, and pharmacy operations is highly desirable.Proficiency in MS Excel, QuickBooks, and other relevant accounting software.Financial and management reporting standardsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast -paced environment.
