Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mixologist role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Mixologist will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, designing creative drink menus, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Day-to-day tasks include crafting cocktails, performing quality checks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and staying informed about the latest mixology trends. The role also involves interacting with customers to provide drink recommendations and ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail preparation, and bar service
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage warmly with guests
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of inventory management and a proactive approach to maintaining stock levels
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and complying with health and safety standards
• Formal training in mixology or a related field is a plus
• Relevant prior experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry
