Elephant Vert is a leading provider of biological solutions for sustainable agriculture. With operations across East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda), we support farmers with high-quality biostimulants, biopesticides, and integrated crop management solutions.

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and proactive Communication Intern to support our regional marketing and communication activities.

Main Responsibilities

Content Creation & Graphic Design

  • Design high-quality visuals, brochures, posters, and social media assets using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom).
  • Edit photos and videos to produce professional-quality marketing content.
  • Create engaging visual content that aligns with Elephant Vert brand guidelines.

Photography & Videography

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during field visits, events, training sessions, and customer interviews.
  • Edit and organize media archives for internal and external communication use.

Community Management

  • Support the management of Elephant Vert East Africa's social media channels (LinkedIn & Facebook).
  • Draft, schedule, and publish posts to showcase company activities, products, trials, team initiatives, and farmer stories.
  • Monitor interactions, respond to messages, and contribute to the growth of our digital community.

Marketing & Communication Support

  • Propose creative ideas and new formats to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Assist in preparing communication kits, presentations, newsletters, and reports.
  • Help coordinate communication activities with internal teams (R&D, Commercial, Agronomy) and external partners.

Finance Support

  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to assist in basic debt collection tasks, including following up with clients on outstanding invoices.
  • Help track payments, update records, and support communication with customers to ensure timely settlements.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial documentation related to receivables.

Profile & Skills Required

Technical Skills

  • Strong command of Canva.
  • Good mastery of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom).
  • Ability to shoot and edit high-quality photos and videos.
  • Understanding of basic graphic design and visual communication principles.

Soft Skills

  • Creative and proactive: able to suggest new ideas and propose improvements.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French or Swahili is a plus).

Education

  • Studying Communication, Marketing, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or related field.
