Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi for a Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing creative assets across various platforms, developing and maintaining brand guidelines, and producing visual materials to support marketing campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include creating graphic content for digital and print media, collaborating with teams to deliver effective visual communication, and ensuring consistency in all branding efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Content Creation

  • Develop digital and print designs including social media graphics, presentations, reports, website visuals, and marketing materials.
  • Create motion graphics, GIFs, and short animations where needed.
  • Collaborate with photography and videography teams to enhance visual storytelling.

Brand Consistency & Identity Management

  • Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
  • Refine brand assets and templates to keep them modern and competitive.
  • Ensure all visuals align with Nabo Capital's brand guidelines.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work with content, social media, and digital strategy teams on campaign visuals.
  • Translate complex investment concepts into visually appealing infographics.
  • Deliver design assets on time for all campaigns.

Creative Innovation

  • Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices.
  • Innovate and experiment with new styles and formats.
  • Contribute ideas during creative and campaign brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications

  • Graphic Design and Visual Communication skills, including experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Creativity and ability to develop original concepts for branding and marketing materials
  • Strong knowledge of layout design, typography, and color theory
  • Experience in producing visuals for both digital and print platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in the financial or investment sector is a plus
