Job Purpose

Our client, a growing Internet Service Provider (ISP), is seeking a
reliable and motivated Driver
to support daily field operations. This role involves transporting technical teams and equipment to client sites and assisting with the installation and maintenance of internet services, ensuring timely and seamless service delivery.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and is eager to learn about fieldwork in a dynamic, technical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport company staff and equipment to installation and maintenance sites
  • Assist with loading and unloading tools and materials
  • Support the installation of routers, modems, and networking equipment at client locations
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot internet connectivity issues
  • Conduct site surveys and recommend appropriate installation approaches
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition and conduct basic checks
  • Record accurate trip and mileage logs, and monitor fuel and service needs
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety procedures
  • Provide courteous and professional support to internal teams and external clients
  • Document field activities and report any technical issues encountered

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Kenyan driver's license (BCE class preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional driver.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and networking skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical role is an added advantage.
  • Certificate of Good Conduct and a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with Kiambu/Kikuyu/Kabete area road networks.
