About the Role

As the Leasing Executive, you will play a critical role in driving occupancy rates, securing premium tenants, managing lease renewals, and ensuring superior client experiences at Nairobi GTC's luxury mixed-use development. This position requires an experienced professional with proven success in office letting and managing real estate agents, who can immediately contribute to our leasing operations.

Responsibilities

Actively promote and lease residential, commercial, and office spaces within the GTC development

Source and secure high-quality tenants through networking, referrals, agents, and direct outreach

Build and manage relationships with external property agents to maximize leasing opportunities

Conduct professional property tours and present GTC's value proposition to prospective tenants

Negotiate lease terms aligned with company policies and market conditions

Maintain regular contact with prospective tenants and managing agents

Address inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally

Coordinate with agents to ensure accurate property listings and effective market coverage

Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of all leasing agreements

Track lease expiry dates and initiate timely renewals to prevent vacancy gaps

Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance

Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and rental rates to guide pricing strategy

Submit weekly and monthly performance reports on leasing activities

Preferred Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Real Estate Management, or related field (mandatory)

Proven track record in office letting and managing property agents

Minimum 3 years' experience in leasing, sales, or property management (luxury real estate experience preferred)

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in English; Chinese proficiency is an added advantage

Computer literacy, including MS Office and CRM software

Ability to work under pressure and deliver results to tight timelines

Strong understanding of the Kenyan real estate market and leasing practices

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Professional presentation and client relationship management abilities

Knowledge of lease documentation and contract administration

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Occupancy Rate Targets : Achievement of specified occupancy rate goals for residential, commercial, and office spaces within the GTC development.

Number of Leases Signed : Monthly target for new lease agreements executed with quality tenants.

Lease Renewal Percentage : Success rate in renewing existing leases to maintain tenant retention and minimize turnover.

Vacancy Period Reduction : Minimization of time between tenant move-out and new lease commencement.

Tenant & Agent Satisfaction : Positive feedback scores from tenants and property agents regarding service quality and professionalism.

Market Coverage : Effectiveness of property listings and marketing reach through agent networks and direct outreach.

Reporting Timeliness : Consistent submission of accurate weekly and monthly performance reports on schedule.

Contract Administration : Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and managing lease agreements with attention to legal compliance and accuracy in documentation.

Communication Excellence : Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present properties professionally and address client concerns effectively.

Results Orientation : Strong focus on achieving occupancy rate targets, minimizing vacancy periods, and delivering measurable results within specified timelines.

Technology Proficiency : Competent in using MS Office Suite and CRM software for tracking leads, managing documentation, and generating performance reports.
