Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Farm Supervisor, located in Kitui County, Kenya. The Farm Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily farm operations, managing farm workers, implementing farming schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include monitoring crop health, maintaining equipment and machinery, coordinating with suppliers, and reporting on farm productivity and progress. The Farm Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the farm's efficient and profitable operation.
Qualifications
- Farm Management and Agronomy skills
- Experience in supervising and managing farm workers and schedules
- Knowledge of crop health monitoring and equipment maintenance
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to variable working conditions
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field. Most important, possess practical knowledge not book knowledge.
- Experience with onions, garlic, tomato is a plus.
