Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kisumu County, Kenya. The Automotive and Heavy Machinery Inventory Stores Professional will be responsible for managing inventory records, ensuring accurate stock levels, overseeing the procurement process for automotive and heavy machinery parts, and organizing storage spaces efficiently.

Additional responsibilities include tracking inventory usage, maintaining supplier relationships, and preparing reports to support operational logistics. The role requires familiarity with components used in trucks, construction machinery, loaders, crushers, and other heavy equipment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in inventory management, stock control, and warehouse organization

Ability to track, analyze, and maintain accurate inventory records

Knowledge of automotive and heavy machinery parts, procurement processes, and supplier management

Skills in communication, attention to detail, and organizational efficiency

Proficiency in using inventory management software and other related tools

Previous experience in an automotive, quarry, construction equipment, or transport-related industry is advantageous

Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
