AFRODRIP LTD, based in Nairobi, manufactures and imports farming materials and has 9 branches across Kenya, including Naivasha, Mombasa, Emali, Machakos, Juja, Nyeri, Muranga, Meru, Nakuru, Eldoret, Narok, Kitale and Kisumu. The company produces Dripline, HDPE Pipes, Shade Nets, and plans to produce fittings by the end of 2025. AFRODRIP LTD supplies a wide range of agricultural products such as greenhouse films, damliners, dripline, HDPE pipes, pressure PP fittings, UPVC pipes and fittings, shade nets, insect nets, mulch films, and various fertilizers as a one-stop shop for the farmers in Kenya and East Africa.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Attendant located in Eldoret. The Sales Attendant will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, providing product information, maintaining store displays, processing sales transactions, and managing inventory. The role involves establishing and nurturing customer relationships, supporting sales promotions, and contributing to achieving sales targets. Also the role covers visiting the farmers on the field regularly to look for the potential customers.

• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Sales and product knowledge in agricultural materials
• Communication and problem-solving skills
• Inventory management and basic computer proficiency
• Teamwork and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
• Prior experience in retail or agricultural sales is a plus and knowledge regarding agricultural irrigation is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in agriculture or business is an advantage
