Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Engineer based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for conducting structural analyses, preparing comprehensive calculations, designing and drafting structural plans using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Additional duties include managing construction projects to ensure they align with designs, safety regulations, and project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Structural Analysis, Structural Engineering, and Civil Engineering
  • Strong skills in performing detailed Calculations and assessments of structural integrity
  • Expertise in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for drafting and preparing technical drawings
  • Ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Professional certification or registration in engineering is a plus
  • Experience in managing on-site construction activities and knowledge of Kenyan building codes is an advantage
