Role Description
This is a full-time remote Cyber Security Internship role at Ontap. As a Cyber Security Intern, you will support the development and implementation of security measures to protect our applications, networks, and information systems. Your responsibilities will include assisting in security assessments, monitoring for potential threats, addressing vulnerabilities, and staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices. You will work closely with a team of experts to strengthen the company's security framework and provide valuable insights into securing and maintaining our technology infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Application Security and Cybersecurity principles
- Familiarity with Network Security protocols and practices
- Foundational knowledge of Information Security and risk management
- Interest in gaining hands-on experience in the cybersecurity field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
