Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and strategic Sales Intern to promote and sell our NGO Management Solutions. The role requires a consultative approach to sales, engaging with humanitarian organizations, NGOs, development agencies, and government institutions to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance resilience, operational efficiency, and impact. The successful candidate will combine business development skills with sector knowledge to drive revenue growth and build long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with NGOs, humanitarian agencies, and development partners.
• Conduct client needs assessments to align solutions with organizational challenges in disaster preparedness, emergency response, resilience building, NGO capacity development etc.
• Develop and present customized proposals, solution briefs, and sales presentations.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the organization's growth in the humanitarian and NGO sectors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and excellent account management.
• Collaborate with technical, training, and product teams to tailor solutions for client requirements.
• Stay up to date with donor priorities, global humanitarian trends, and NGO sector challenges.
• Represent the organization at sectoral conferences, exhibitions, and networking forums.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports for management decision-making. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development / Emergency Response, Development Studies / International Relations, Humanitarian Affairs, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in sales, business development, or client engagement, preferably in the humanitarian, NGO, or development sector.
• Experience engaging with NGOs, UN agencies, or donor-funded programs is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of disaster risk reduction, humanitarian operations, or NGO capacity-building is an advantage.
• Proven ability to communicate and sell solutions to senior decision-makers and technical experts.
• Strong proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
• Goal-driven, adaptable, and able to work independently and collaboratively. Key Competencies
