Job Description/Requirements
  • Safely operate and maintain organizational vehicle in compliance with local traffic regulations.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for each trip.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with partners, clients and colleagues.
  • Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the organization vehicle.
  • Ensure that all required vehicle documents, such as licenses, insurance, and registration, are up to date and valid.
  • Follow organizational policies and guidelines on vehicle use and code of conduct.
  • Stay updated on local traffic and road conditions that may affect transportation schedules.

Qualifications And Requirements
  • High school diploma/certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as driver with good driving record and reference.
  • Valid certificate of good conduct must be provided.
  • Good knowledge on mechanical works- experience or certificate preferable.
  • Experience with driving to remote locations and rough roads.
  • Strong communication and team building skills with ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of local transport regulations.
  • Good physical condition and endurance for long hours on the road.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
  • Basic IT skills will be an added advantage.
