Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor based in Mombasa, with some flexibility for remote work. The Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost management processes, prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and ensure effective cost control for ongoing projects. Responsibilities include conducting cost planning, preparing detailed cost reports, and maintaining accurate records to support financial decision-making and project efficiency. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure alignment with budgets and project deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management principles
- Experience in preparing and analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Skills in Cost Planning and developing accurate budgets
- Ability to generate detailed and precise Cost Reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in relevant software tools and Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience with residential or commercial construction projects is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
