Chinese Translator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a competent Chinese Translator to support our manufacturing operations by facilitating clear communication between Chinese and English-speaking teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. The role involves translating technical documents, contracts, manuals, and day-to-day communications to ensure smooth workflow and accurate understanding across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate technical documents, product specifications, manuals, contracts, and other materials between Chinese and English.
• Provide interpretation during meetings, factory visits, and video/phone conferences with Chinese partners, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and aligned with industry terminology and manufacturing processes.
• Assist in drafting bilingual reports, emails, and presentations for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, quality assurance, and management teams to support communication needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive company and client information.
• Stay updated with manufacturing and technical vocabulary relevant to the industry.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Chinese-English translator/interpreter, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and translation tools is an added advantage.
