Summary
Our client in the hotel industry is seeking to recruit a well experienced Business developer. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, increasing revenue streams, and developing strategic partnerships within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities:
Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and market trends.
Develop and implement effective strategies to attract new clients, corporate accounts, and group bookings.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, client meetings, and presentations.
Work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth in accommodation bookings, event spaces, and other hotel services.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Negotiate and finalize agreements with corporate clients, event planners, and other partners.
Ensure that contracts and agreements align with the hotel's policies and standards.
Collaboration with Departments:
Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of business development strategies.
Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and yield strategies.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to make informed business development decisions.
Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and business development metrics.
Promotion of Hotel Amenities:
Develop and implement strategies to promote and sell hotel amenities, packages, and special offers to enhance the guest experience.
Event Planning and Coordination:
Work with event planners and organizations to secure group bookings and coordinate events held at the hotel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
Strong understanding of hotel operations, services, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
