JOB SUMMARY

Personal Specification Bachelor's degree/Diploma in M&E, Research, Statistics, Social sciences, or a related  field.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex  information clearly and concisely. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, with a demonstrated  commitment to collaboration and mutual support. Demonstrated interest in youth development, governance, and social justice issues.Prior experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, or data management is desirable  but not required. Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks, methodologies, and tools is an  asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools is preferred.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced  environmentInterested candidates will send a cover letter expressing their interest and expectations from this  opportunity and a curriculum vitae with contact details to recruitment@youthagenda.org by  20th May 2024. RESPONSIBILITIES

Youth Agenda is looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Intern who is expected to provide  M&E support to the Organisation. The intern will have the following main duties:Support the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for  YAA programs and projects. Support data collection, analysis, and reporting activities, including surveys, interviews,  and focus group discussions. Support the development of data collection tools, including questionnaires, interview  guides, and data entry templates. Support the management of databases and data repositories, ensuring data integrity and  security. Collaborate with program teams to track project progress, identify challenges, and develop  recommendations for program improvement. Assist in the preparation of monitoring and evaluation reports, summaries, and  presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in monitoring and evaluation capacity-building activities for YAA staff and  partners. Contribute to knowledge management and learning initiatives within the organization,  including the documentation of best practices and lessons learned.
