Mr. Green Africa is a Nairobi-based recycling start-up whose vision is to change people's perceptions towards. Waste equals value. This small company incorporates the concept of shared value—creating economic value while addressing social and environmental challenges—into its core, by harnessing the untapped potential of an existing informal waste management industry.
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Executive will assist in the acquisition of new clients both in existing and new markets for Mr. Green Africa's plastic products portfolio, new product lines, account management & growth and retention of these clients. He/She will be part of a resilient, aggressive and creative team that is deeply passionate about solving problems and ensuring both individual career and business growth is achieved.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications, Regulatory & Legal RequirementsBachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or related courseAt least 3(Three ) years experience in business development /extensive sales experienceCompetencies and AttributesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal communication)Ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentOrganized and great attention to detailIntuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviorAbility to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or servicesProfessional yet affable dispositionNeat, well-groomed appearanceGreat networking skillsResourceful with outstanding research skillsEmboldened by challenges
RESPONSIBILITIES
New client acquisitionResearch and Lead generation of potential customers for new MGA product lines(hard plastics & Others)Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing departmentAttending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients through workshops and seminarsPreparation and execution of Sales pitches to potential customers towards building a strong MGA's customer baseCrafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clientsNegotiating with clients to secure the most attractive pricesGuiding all potential customers through product trial processesSuggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clientsRemaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevantSale of other MGA product lines as shall be briefedFamiliarize yourself with all products and services offered by our company and identify profitable market opportunities for these productsLearn and apply sales techniquesMaintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retainedReviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changesAccount ManagementSecuring & booking of Sales orders from clientsWork closely with the production and logistics teams to make sure orders are delivered in a timely and efficient mannerHelp develop client relationships and retain existing accountsMaintain sales records in OdooInternal business processesPreparation & submission of periodic reports as briefedPerform other related duties as assigned
