Job Description

We are seeking a Functional Siebel engineer to serve as the Siebel Application Technical Lead, offering management oversight and hands-on expertise for Oracle Cloud implementation projects. This individual will collaborate as part of a project team to deliver analytical and solution-oriented services to Fortune 1000 clients.

Key Technical Skills Required:
  • Candidates must possess a BS or BA degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with integrations across ERP, SCM, and HCM applications both on-premises and through SaaS
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle ERP Integration Architecture/Development, with at least 3 years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Proficiency in Web Services such as REST, SOAP, OAuth, and SSL
  • Experience with Oracle PaaS (Platform as a Service)
  • Expertise in Report Development using OTBI and BIP
  • Demonstrated experience in leading remote, offshore, or nearshore teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities of a Functional Siebel Engineer at Oracle CSS:
  • Lead Oracle Technical projects, overseeing architecture, technical design creation, and managing a team of Oracle Technical Applications Consultants (Integrations and Reporting)
  • Define technical components (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Extensions) and delivery approach
  • Offer hands-on leadership support through prototyping and reference implementations
  • Manage the implementation of technical solutions in Oracle ERP Cloud Application modules to meet functional business requirements
  • Provide guidance to technical developers to enhance their skills
  • Review technical solutions and code to ensure adherence to best practices and achieve top-notch quality and performance
  • Contribute to continuous Peloton delivery process enhancements and intellectual property
  • Possess flexibility to travel up to 50% depending on project requirements and client needs
  • Analyze customers' business needs to ensure Oracle solutions align with their objectives
  • Support customers in their transition to the Cloud
  • Ensure optimal utilization of Oracle cloud technologies following best practices
  • Act as the Oracle Solution Delivery expert, assisting customers in making informed decisions for cost-effective and beneficial solutions
  • Provide technical guidance on Oracle cloud and on-premise solutions to customers and team members
  • Support solutions involving multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments
  • Ensure successful transition from Implementation to operations while meeting customer requirements
  • Maintain Oracle Solutions to meet customer demands on on-premise, cloud, or hybrid platforms
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Managers for effective technical management of work streams
  • Act as the primary contact for new business opportunities and support presales activities
  • Lead and contribute to strategic programs and initiatives
  • Coach team members and lead technical teams, acknowledging and valuing their contributions
  • Enhance the value our company offers to customers by leveraging all available resources effectively
