JOB PURPOSE

The Chief Marketing Officer will oversee all marketing initiatives including digital marketing, brand management, PR, and customer relationship management. Responsibilities involve developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing budgets, and driving revenue growth. The role includes collaborating with the executive team to align marketing strategies with business goals and ensure a strong brand presence.



KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership for marketing initiatives such as public relations, graphics design, internal & external communications, and marketing strategy development.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on increasing bookings, occupancy, and brand awareness.
  • Lead the marketing team in establishing financial objectives, including exploring new markets to enhance revenue.
  • Collect and address guest preferences, enhance customer satisfaction levels, and build a loyal clientele base.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development and contribute to business plans for portfolio expansion.
  • Translate organizational strategy into actionable goals, support goal setting, and annual operating plans.
  • Foster an inclusive culture, ensure team training and development, and contribute to succession planning.
  • Represent the company at marketing events and trade exhibitions, engage in CSR programs related to charity and the environment.
  • Chair marketing department meetings, ensure accurate preparation of marketing reports, board reports, and timely updates on marketing milestones.
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews and maintain effective communication within the organization.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS

  • A Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Chief Marketing Officer or in a similar senior marketing role.
  • Strong leadership qualities, strategic planning skills, and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, PR, brand management, and customer relationship management.
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing marketing budgets.
  • Knowledge of market research and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Experience in the tourism or hospitality sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
