POSITION SUMMARY:
We are in search of a talented Instructional Designer to develop compelling learning experiences. Your expertise in curriculum design and instructional strategies is essential for providing effective training.

You will be an integral part of the Producer Resource Hub, establishing partnerships with producers to achieve a common strategic vision.

Your role plays a key part in reaching 100 million producers by nurturing stakeholder growth through well-crafted training initiatives.

You will spearhead the creation of training materials for our Certification program and other initiatives, as well as support dissemination strategies and data collection via our online learning platform.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist program managers in identifying training needs, costs, and return on investments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts in a diverse global environment.
- Develop roadmaps, track timelines and budgets.
- Create engaging learning experiences utilizing instructional design theories and practices.
- Manage resource development outsourcing and translations.
- Produce videos through screen recording and PowerPoint presentations.
- Review content for translation, perform translations, validate them and integrate into course materials and documents.
- Support capacity building, trainer initiatives, and data collection strategies.
- Evaluate implementation success, share insights, and enhance designs.
- Provide logistical and administrative support on the online learning platform.
- Perform other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or instructional technology. Background in Agronomy is a bonus.
- Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and models like ADDIE.
- Ability to craft interactive learning experiences in various formats.
- Expertise in (outsourcing) video production, including writing scripts, recording screens, and syncing subtitles and audio with video, AI translation.
- Strong editing skills for developing clear learning materials.
- Skills in designing assessments and evaluations for program effectiveness.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems like Moodle.
- Knowledge of multimedia elements to enhance learning experiences.
- Data analysis skills for interpreting evaluation results and enhancing programs.
- Project management experience in an agile setting with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing design challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with experts and stakeholders.
- Specific familiarity with voluntary standards and Rainforest Alliance's Standard.
- Experience in creating tailored learning content for farmers in the coffee, cocoa, and tea industries.
