Summary

We are on the lookout for Data Annotators to handle annotation tasks on various English datasets. These datasets mainly consist of textual data but may also involve images, videos, and other content forms. The annotated data plays a crucial role in the development and enhancement of machine learning models for tasks such as text classification and entity recognition.

Responsibilities

- Skillfully and consistently annotate English data based on predefined guidelines
- Conduct basic research when necessary to ensure accurate annotation
- Offer feedback on annotation tasks and contribute to enhancing the data annotation process
- Provide insights on patterns observed in the annotated data

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in data annotation and content review tasks
- Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent written communication and comprehension abilities in English
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and justify decisions
- Previous exposure to data annotation or content review tasks is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with user-generated content
- Diverse range of interests and expertise in specific areas is a plus
- Background in a professional work environment
- Desired working hours: 8:30 am PST - 17:30 pm PST

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in social sciences
- More than 4 years of experience in web research skills and analytical capabilities
- Over 4 years of proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and annotation tools
