JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the CTO.As a Tech Lead specializing in Odoo ERP integration at Auraska Infotech Ltd., you will play a crucial role in leading the technical aspects of Odoo ERP implementation projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the integration process, providing technical guidance to the development team, and ensuring successful project delivery within specified timelines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in software development, expertise in Odoo ERP customization and integration, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Technical Leadership:
• Lead and oversee the technical aspects of Odoo ERP integration projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards throughout the development lifecycle. 2. Odoo ERP Integration:
• Design, develop, and implement customized Odoo ERP solutions to meet client requirements.
• Integrate Odoo ERP with third-party systems and applications as needed.
• Perform data migration and system configuration tasks as part of the integration process. 3. Project Management:
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Create project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery. 4. Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, quality assurance engineers, and UI/UX designers, to ensure seamless project execution. 5. Client Interaction:
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and address client concerns or feedback in a timely manner. 6. Documentation:
• Ensure documentation of technical specifications, design documents, and project deliverables.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.Requirements:1. Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.2. Work Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Odoo ERP integration and customization.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering Odoo ERP projects from inception to completion.3. Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• In-depth knowledge of Odoo ERP framework, modules, and APIs.
• Experience with database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.4. Leadership Skills:
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project objectives.5. Communication Skills:
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in client-facing roles, with a customer-oriented approach to project delivery.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Agile and Lean methodologies, Python, Relational databases (SQL), Enterprise architecture integration (EAI), Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP system (use of), Version control and configuration management, Database query languages (SQL, others)
