Job Description

The Assistant Manager UI/UX role is responsible for designing new and improving existing features to create simple yet intuitive user experiences on the bank's digital products. This involves gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements on the bank's digital channels, defining the product vision, and working closely with product managers and internal and external developers to deliver on the bank's digital agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital banking platforms based on customer insights.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Conduct user research on new and existing products to understand customer behaviours, needs, and pain points.
  • Ensure a seamless and consistent user experience across various digital channels (web, mobile, and other platforms).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to bring designs from concept to implementation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure a cohesive and on-brand user experience.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather valuable insights and feedback from users.
  • Iterate designs based on user testing results to continuously improve the user experience.
The Person

For the Assistant Manager UI/UX position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • At least four (4) years of relevant work experience with specific experience in:
    • 3 years as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
    • 3 years of use of design and prototyping with tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite.
    • 1 year experience in Front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
    • 1 year experience in research methodologies.
    • customer journey mapping and user experience testing.
    • Project Management/Relationship Management/ AGILE Practices
