Role Summary:

The Director of Deployment is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the deployment of our projects and professional services to a global array of telecom operators. This role entails managing a multifaceted team of data engineers, under the guidance of Solution Analytics Managers and Team Leads, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our services. Your stewardship will be instrumental in guaranteeing project success, aligning with both timelines and budgetary frameworks, while also surpassing client expectations in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution: Formulate and execute comprehensive strategic plans for the deployment of professional services, ensuring alignment with overarching company objectives and the specific needs of our clients.Team Leadership & Development: Lead a diverse assembly of data engineering teams, fostering an environment of motivation, skill enhancement, and alignment with strategic goals. Oversee performance management, hiring and training plans. Advocate for a culture of excellence and perpetual advancement within these teams.Advanced Resource Planning & Management: lead sophisticated resource planning and management strategies, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of personnel and technological resources across projects to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with our telecom operator clients, serving as a senior liaison during the deployment phase, and ensuring that our services not only meet but exceed their expectations. Follow up with clients on different escalations and oversee the process of issue resolution.Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance: Guarantee the efficiency and quality of deployment activities, adhering to the highest industry standards. Implement and refine project management and deployment methodologies to uphold superior service quality. Set and optimize delivery and handoff standards, security measures and production standards and policies.Interdepartmental Collaboration: represent the deployment team in the different activities with Sales, Product Development, and Managed Service Operations departments to ensure a unified approach to service delivery, enhancing the overall Client and Data Experience.Comprehensive Budget, Cost, Timeline and Forecast Oversight: Manage the financial aspects of deployment projects, including estimations, cost control, timesheets and timeline management as well as resource requirement forecast to ensure projects are completed within allocated budgets and timeframes.Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with deployment projects, ensuring all activities comply with relevant industry regulations and client and company policies.
