Job Description:

Position Overview: Business Partner - Human Resources (HR)

The role of HR Business Partner entails working closely with business unit leaders to align people strategies with overall business objectives. Collaborating with managers and stakeholders, the HRBP plays a critical role in setting priorities, driving value, and achieving business outcomes. Acting as the main point of contact for HR issues within the supported units, the HR Business Partner offers guidance on HR policies, processes, and execution management to enhance the overall employee and manager experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary HR contact for the supported business unit, offering HR advice and enhancing managers' team management capabilities.
  • Contribute to fostering a strong organizational culture and continuously improving the employee experience.
  • Participate in talent acquisition activities, including defining job profiles, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding processes.
  • Communicate and manage change initiatives within the business unit as a catalyst for change.
  • Provide counseling, coaching, and mentorship to staff and managers on HR-related issues.
  • Facilitate the development of a performance-driven culture through effective performance management practices.
  • Coordinate and oversee training and development projects, including needs assessments and implementation plans.
  • Support business alignment by providing strategic advice and interventions to ensure coherence between business and people strategies.
  • Lead a team of Business Partners and HR Advisors when necessary.
Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Finance, Social Sciences, or related field from a recognized University or College.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Current membership in Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM K) or similar reputable HR professional body.
  • 7-10 years of experience in HR Relationship Management, including proficiency in various HR functions and 3 years of team leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with national and regional labor laws, tax regulations, and social security legislation.
