What You Will Bring
A BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Certification and current practice as a mechanical/electrical engineer.
A minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Proficiency in building maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Civil disciplines.
Strong knowledge of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and implementation.
Computer literacy (MS Office and system related reporting tools).
Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing); French language skills are an added advantage.

What You Will Be DoingAs the Cluster Technical Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive management of both hard and soft services across multiple locations in Eastern Africa
Your role will involve:
Maintenance Management:
Supervise maintenance services provided by consultants and contractors, ensuring alignment with client interests and compliance with statutory QHSE and local regulations.
Budget Oversight:
Contribute to annual maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures, and obtain approval for any overages.
Project Support:
Assist with client projects as needed.
Service Implementation:
Ensure timely execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive repairs across all locations.
Hard Services Oversight:
Manage technical aspects such as electrical, mechanical, civil works, and systems including BMS, UPS, and generators.
Soft Services Oversight:
Supervise general and deep cleaning, waste management, landscaping, and business center operations.
Technical Evaluation:
Assess solutions proposed by consultants or contractors to ensure they meet client needs.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, and staff.
Repair and Maintenance:
Assist with the inspection, cleaning, and repair of electrical equipment and generators.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety legislation and contract obligations, and promote energy efficiency.
