Main PurposeThe Business Development Executive, Broker & Independent Agents will be responsible for the business development, growth and management of the life insurance sales through brokers and independent insurance agents.
Participate in the development and maintenance of an all-encompassing, multifaceted, marketing plan and strategy for life insurance products through Brokers and Independent AgentsDirect, guide and offer support to the Brokers and Independent Agents
Monitor broker and Independent Agents' preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Visit brokers and Independent Agents and ensure their needs are met as well as receiving comments and suggestions on improvement on the products.
Drive efforts and secure new relationships the purpose for selling life insurance products.Cultivate good relationship with Brokers and Independent Agents to identify and secure marketing agreements.
Implement a product training plan for Brokers and Independent Agents in order to increase uptake of Liberty product offering.
Drive achievement of the business growth through identification of new business targetsPrepare timely, accurate and informative reports on the performance of assigned channels to management for decision making.
Conduct market research and intelligence for improved service delivery to clients.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business related field
Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII, FLMI AIIK)
Experience
At least 3 years experience in the insurance industry with focus on sales and distribution.
Competencies
Achievement of the set revenue target with a bias in group life.
Customer retention and repeat business.
Compliance with the Liberty's guidelines on risk management
Prompt resolution of clients' issues
Customer feedback on the quality of service provision
Well managed client portfolio
Adhering to principles and values
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
Following instructions and procedures
Coping with pressures and setbacks
Presenting and communicating information
Achieving personal work goals and objectives - personal motivation
