Duties and Responsibilities
- Spearheading development, review, and implementation of digital health strategies.
- Managing deployment and maintenance of digital health solutions.
- Coordinating data reporting into the Kenya Health Information System.
- Collaborating with stakeholders for data management.
- Supporting adoption of comprehensive health information systems.
- Acquiring and deploying digital health infrastructure.
- Leading provision and maintenance of health information exchange.
- Designing impact assessments for digital health.
- Establishing telemedicine centers of excellence.
- Promoting adoption of digital health nationwide.
- Utilizing health data to enhance service delivery.
- Training Ministries, Departments, Counties, and government agencies on health analysis.
Requirements for the Role
- Minimum 3 years experience at Deputy Director level in Medical Services.
- Bachelors Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related fields.
- Masters Degree in Health Management, Public Health, or equivalent.
- Registration and licensing by relevant regulatory body.
- Membership in a professional body where applicable.
- Proven managerial and administrative competencies.
- Understanding of national goals for effective health service management.
