Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Software Engineer at Quick Cart Africa Inc. located in Nairobi County, Kenya. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality back-end web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable software solutions that meet business needs. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • Strong programming skills in the field of Computer Science and Software Development
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of best practices in software development and coding standards
  • Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
