**About the Role:**

cinfo, a leading organization in international relations, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Associate Political Affairs Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Office of the Special Envoy for the Great Lakes Region by providing timely analysis of political developments and recommending policies to address complex issues. This role requires exceptional communication skills, as the candidate will prepare reports, briefings, and other materials for various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze political developments in the Great Lakes region
  • Develop and implement strategies to address emerging challenges
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and other materials for senior officials and stakeholders
  • Support joint initiatives and contribute to program development and planning

Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:

  • A Master's degree in political science, international relations, or a related field
  • At least three years of professional experience in political affairs, international relations, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English and French is required, with fluency in a second UN language
  • Experience working in conflict or post-conflict settings is an asset
