We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial tasks, preparing purchase orders, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and tracking expenditures.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain accurate financial records, including invoicing, payroll, and other transactions.
- Document and submit detailed financial reports to senior executives for review and decision-making purposes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insightful information to help inform business decisions.
- Prepare payments to suppliers, government entities, and other service providers by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with state and local financial regulations, advising management on necessary actions.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and implement policies and procedures to maintain accounting controls.
- Maintain financial security by enforcing internal controls and monitoring the company's financial status and performance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Degree or diploma in Business Management, Commerce, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and diplomacy when interacting with clients.
- Reliability and ability to work under pressure and independently.
