
Site Manager

As a seasoned professional in building operations, you will oversee the execution of construction projects ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry codes.
- Manage site activities and ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications;
- Prepare and submit site records on time as required;
- Assist in creating project progress reports for construction works.
- Review drawings issued to site and make necessary changes after approval from Construction Manager.
- Develop geometric design from survey results using AutoCAD and/or other suitable programmes;
- Supervise foremen, skilled, and unskilled labor on-site, guaranteeing that works meet high standards expected by stakeholders.
- Ensure all personnel comply with health and safety practices and identify potential hazards for timely management.
- Prepare work schedules and resource allocation plans to ensure site team and subcontractors complete tasks within specified time frames;
- Verify that all works undertaken by the site team and/or subcontractor are of excellent quality and meet approved specifications.
- Monitor daily performance of resources including labor and equipment, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with site teams and subcontractors, resolving any issues or conflicts promptly and escalating concerns to Construction Manager when necessary.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/building and construction or related field of study plus 7 years relevant site work experience in supervision of Civil Works.
- Or Diploma in Civil Engineering/Building and Construction or related field plus 10 years relevant site work experience in supervision of Civil Works.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with standard Microsoft office applications including MS Project and engineering computer programs such as AUTOCAD.
- Good understanding of industry specifications and methodologies.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams and leading complex projects successfully.
