**Job Title:** Lead QA Tester

**Job Summary:**

At Nathan HR Human Resources, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead QA Tester to ensure high-quality standards and operational excellence across our enterprise solutions. In this role, you will lead the testing strategy, design, and implementation for ERP-related projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop robust testing processes, identify and resolve software issues, and drive best practices for quality assurance.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Quality Strategy Development:

* Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases tailored to ERP systems, focusing on functional, performance, and security testing.

* Define and optimize testing methodologies to ensure alignment with project goals and overall quality standards.

2. Team Leadership and Mentoring:

* Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to perform at their best.

* Provide ongoing training and development to QA team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

3. Testing and Validation:

* Conduct end-to-end testing, including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, across ERP modules to ensure seamless functionality and performance.

* Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and test cases, providing feedback to refine and improve the system.

4. Defect Management and Resolution:

* Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, working with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely fixes.

* Track and report on QA metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to measure testing progress and quality assurance effectiveness.

5. Automation and Continuous Improvement:

* Develop and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.

* Stay current with industry trends and tools for ERP systems, implementing improvements as needed to optimize the QA process.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the ERP system.

* Communicate testing status, issues, and progress clearly to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.

**Qualifications:**

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

* Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on ERP systems.

* 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role within QA, preferably in ERP or enterprise software environments.

**Technical Skills:**

* In-depth knowledge of ERP systems.

* Proficiency with QA and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, QTP, Git).

* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

**Soft Skills:**

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

* ISTQB certification or equivalent.

* Familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions and SaaS platforms.
