Responsibilities



The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.
  • Reviewing daily cost reports and investigating discrepancies or variances.
  • Assisting in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Collaborating with department heads to understand and control costs within their respective areas.
  • Providing support during internal and external audits.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives and procedures.
  • Establishing and administering sound food and beverage cost control systems and procedures.
  • Preparing the costing for recipes and menus prepared by the Executive Chef and suggesting the selling price.
  • Providing costing, control, administration support in regard to food and beverage cost to F&B Department.
  • Supervising inventory control, forming analysis, and preparing reports to keep all levels of management informed of day-to-day food and beverage costs, problems, and opportunities.
  • Preparing daily flash report of food costs, verifying daily outlet void control sheets, and preparing P&L statement of major banqueting events.
  • Randomly testing the inventory of outlets by reconciling the opening stock with the closing stock, taking account of store issues and sales.'
