Job Description

The successful candidate will have two years of post-admission experience in a commercial or conveyancing practice area. They will be responsible for providing legal advice, drafting legal opinions, and conducting research on relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet with clients to discuss their legal issues and provide expert advice
  2. Provide comprehensive legal and technical guidance, including drafting complex legal opinions
  3. Undertake thorough due diligence on litigation matters
  4. Conduct in-depth research on relevant laws, regulations, precedents, and case law
  5. Prepare and review a wide range of legal documents
  6. Manage deadlines and court schedules efficiently
  7. Prepare and file legal pleadings and documents with the relevant court or tribunal
  8. Collaborate with other lawyers and colleagues on high-profile litigation cases
Requirements
  • Post-admission experience in a busy law firm
  • Upper 2nd Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a reputable university
  • Valid practicing certificate
