Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have two years of post-admission experience in a commercial or conveyancing practice area. They will be responsible for providing legal advice, drafting legal opinions, and conducting research on relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with clients to discuss their legal issues and provide expert advice
- Provide comprehensive legal and technical guidance, including drafting complex legal opinions
- Undertake thorough due diligence on litigation matters
- Conduct in-depth research on relevant laws, regulations, precedents, and case law
- Prepare and review a wide range of legal documents
- Manage deadlines and court schedules efficiently
- Prepare and file legal pleadings and documents with the relevant court or tribunal
- Collaborate with other lawyers and colleagues on high-profile litigation cases
- Post-admission experience in a busy law firm
- Upper 2nd Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a reputable university
- Valid practicing certificate
